Konark Sun Temple: Style and Architecture

Abstract


All religious buildings and monuments depict the culture and tradition of its concern. The Hindu temple depicts Hindu culture and heritage. In India, there are multiple world heritage sites. Every World Heritage Sites have their importance in the same way this article will discuss the culture, art, and architecture of the Konark Sun temple. This article will focus on the history, architecture style, and depictions of the Konark Sun temple. This article covers the style of architecture of the Konark temple which is a masterpiece example of a Hindu temple in Odisha, India. The Sun temple in Konark, Odisha, India, was constructed in the 13th century CE near the bank of an old river called Chandrabhaga. This research looks into the probability of the Konark temple style existing. The study of the existence of the Kalinga style of architecture in the temple will be the main motive of this article. This article will give a brief introduction to the locality and the climate shutting the style and construction materials of the Konark Sun Temple.
