Estimation and Analysis of Hostel Building for Students as per the Recommendation of AICTE

Abstract


Any construction project to begin which starts with the Layout of the building or structure followed by Design and Analysis of the structure which is succeeded by cost estimation and planning for the said project. This project involves the layout, design, analysis, planning and estimation of a G+2 hostel building located in RVS College of Engineering & Technology, Jamshedpur, and Jharkhand. The layout of the proposed G+2 hostel building is based on a plot of size 1040sq.m (minimum size). Previously the plot was being used as a parking space for buses, but according to the new plan it will be used as a multi- storeyed hostel building. The ground floor of the building will be used as a food mess along with GYM rooms, Library, store room and living rooms with separate bathroom while the remaining 2 floors will be divided into various rooms with attached bathroom allocated to the college students. All the drafting will be execute done using AutoCAD also these drawings made on AutoCAD.
