In Warming Cities Outer Belt Peoples Are More at Risk of Heat

Abstract


In India in the month of June-July (the hottest months of the year) percentage of death in now increasing day by day due to different policies, government trends, bigger housing leaves less space for greenery. So there are some areas exposed to more heat rather than other areas. The percentage of poorer people in hotter area is much higher. In various countries researchers’ state that urban heat increases rates of injury, diseases due to it, death is also a major cause of urban heat. Due to urban heat government also took step forward for green infrastructures rather than grey infrastructure.
