Refashioning India Via “Make In India

Abstract


Launched on a National as well as State level, the “MAKE IN INDIA” project is a commitment of the Indian Government to the business entities extending them a red carpet in a spirit of warm welcome and active co-operation in the 25 sectors so mentioned in the scheme. Under this, India will act as an investor’s hub in all aspects of regulatory and policy issues and getting them the required clearance. This paper aims at identifying domestic companies having innovations and providing them new technologies for turning them into global champions. Focus is on promoting green and advanced techniques and getting them into main streamed. “Majority manufacturing in INDIA and selling them abroad” is what MAKE IN INDIA wants.
