Development of Tourism Circuits of Southern Chhattisgarh: A Study

Abstract

Integration of tourism is discussed here with its surrounding tourist destinations area. The policy, issues and infrastructural facilities with geographical and climatically, which this integration creates are then analysed. This study concludes with a discussion of the problems and identification of circuits with priority inherent in achieving successful integration. The carrying capacity and infrastructure of the destinations are surveyed. A sincere attempt at tourist circuits is prepared which include and recommended the involvement of local communities. Finally three different tourist circuits has been prepared with different destinations which can be explored for popularization of tourism in Chhattisgarh. This study will help planners, architects in furthering tourism infrastructure and tourism master plan.
