Abstract

Smart home interior technologies have gained significant momentum worldwide, transforming traditional households into intelligent living spaces. It is one of the most intend phenomenon that suggests the integration of smart home technologies in the unique context of Indian households. As the most populous country in the world, India faces distinct socio-economic, cultural, and infrastructural challenges that influence the adoption and implementation of smart home solutions. This research investigates the key factors driving the adoption of smart home interior technologies in India, including the increasing urbanization, rising disposable incomes, and a growing awareness of energy efficiency and security. The paper also addresses the challenges, such as affordability, interoperability, and privacy concerns, that may hinder widespread adoption in this diverse and complex market. The study delves into the Indian consumer preferences and demands regarding smart home interior technologies, emphasizing cultural and lifestyle factors that influence the choice of devices and systems. It explores case studies and examples of successful smart home implementations in India, highlighting innovative approaches and solutions tailored to the Indian context. This research provides valuable insights into the dynamic world of smart home interiors in India, offering guidance for various stakeholders in this rapidly evolving market.
