Abstract

Medical centers, especially hospitals, are one of the most important facilities that the residents of any area need. Identifying suitable locations for the construction of the hospital will not only be the best way to meet the needs of residents, but in the future the existence of this hospital will not cause side problems. In this study, to rank the neighborhoods of regions 1 and 2 of Tabriz city from the criteria of distance to street, distance to hotel, population density, distance to educational centers, distance to existing medical centers, distance to landfills, distance to promenade and distance to Sports sites was used. The network analysis process (ANP) method was used to evaluate the importance of the criteria, finally, the layers were combined by combining the weights obtained from the ANP method in the GIS and the neighborhood fit ranking map was obtained. The results showed that distance from existing medical centers (21.89%) and population density (18.06%) were the most important criteria. The ranking results showed that ValiAsr-3, ShamsAbad-2 and Old Baghmishe-1 are the best neighborhoods and neighborhoods of Golbad, Sari-Zamin-2 and Sari-Zamin-1 are the worst neighborhoods for building a new hospital. Also, according to the results of the construction of the hospital in Zone-1, it is better than Zone-2.
