Reflective Learning! Experience–Reflect–Realise

Abstract


Knowledge is being imparted since ancient Gurukul times to the modern e-learning modes of education. Innovative pedagogical teaching approaches, advanced computer techniques, easy access to information and high-end institutional infrastructures have improved knowledge learning processes and learning environments immensely. In this article, certain findings which were realised while researching through the literature of “learning” in higher education are presented. The theories, researches & information evolved by different academicians, educationists and psychologists have provided a strong insight in to the overall learning process of education. The findings presented in the article are the conclusions realised during the process of literature study. The study was conducted in the search to understand “learning” in the U.G course of architecture education. The stage wise understandings in classifications of learning processes as propounded by theorists and further realised conclusions from those are mentioned herewith in the article.
