Feasibility of Hybrid Construction using Emerging Technologies for Housing Board Projects

Sheefa Sidhika M, Ramkumar R, Surya Rajkumar

Abstract

The traditional methods employ a larger workforce and more trained workers to accomplish efficiency, and a lack of these factors might impact the overall length, cost, and quality goals. Advanced robotic technology has been created to participate in on- site building as a solution to this problem. Technology like 3D printing is one of those tools that makes a job more efficient. The effectiveness of building can be improved by developing hybrid structures. The study objective is to examine how hybrid building methods, such as 3D printing and prefab houses, affect the amount of resources and money spent compared to traditional methods. To comprehend the
superiority of hybrid technology in the construction of high-rise buildings over traditional methods. To comprehend the adoption of different technologies, such as 3D printing and prefab, and their superiority to one another. Developing a prototype for a high-rise building and a hybrid model for low-rise construction, and then evaluating the effectiveness of both. This closes the hole in the study on hybrid systems and makes them usable for building specialists.
