Abstract

Sustainability is an important aspect in terms of architecture while dealing through a design. A building must care for its environment and be sustainable in order to meet the demands for future generations. The energy is needed and every year there is an increase in the demand due to the increase in advancement of technology. The concept, as well as the current trend, is green building (or sustainable building) encompasses both a structure and the application of processes, that are environmentally
responsible and resource-efficient throughout the life cycle of a building, including design, operation, construction, renovation, and maintenance. Sustainability is important because it helps ensure that future generations will have access to the resources and opportunities, they need to live fulfill lives. Unsustainable practices can lead to environmental degradation, loss of biodiversity, and depletion of natural resources, which can have far-reaching and long-lasting impacts. Sustainability addresses the long-term viability of human societies and the natural systems that support life on earth. There are several aspects of sustainability, including economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Godrej green business center, located in Hyderabad serves as a great example for the development of green
buildings in India. It is a commercial office complex that has been designed and constructed with the goal of reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainability. The paper focuses on the sustainable measures adopted in the building. The study of the paper is based on the observation of the building and explores the sustainable design strategies adopted in the building.
