Abstract

Dumping of sewage sludge is one of the leading problems of sewage treatment plant. Thus, productively using of sewage sludge for manufacturing of bricks can be a better option to minimize the sludge disposal problems as well as save natural resources required for manufacturing of conventional bricks. Our work focuses on the conversion of the sludge into a construction material and use as a raw material for bricks and also to propose an extension for sewage treatment. Different percentage of sludge from 5%, 10%, 20% will be added into in the bricks. Detailed procedure for conversion of sludge into raw material is given in the project, and using the same into manufacturing of bricks.
