Energy audit is the process to identify the wastage of energy without affecting productivity. Consequently, this energy audit prove to be an asset for energy saving and determination of payback period. There is different procedures involved in calculating the energy consumed by different appliances, which are categorized as preliminary audit and detailed audit. Through this paper, various methodologies of energy audit have been discussed and the result of energy auditing has been evaluated by case study of Vikas Minar, Delhi. The idea is to calculate the energy consumption of each appliance and determine its feasibility by evaluating its payback period. Therefore the main objective of the audit is to seek the opportunity to improve energy efficiency of the building.Downloads
