Enhancing the resilience of buildings through mandatory requirements that increase robustness, durability, longevity, disaster resistance, and safety should be a priority for every jurisdiction interested in improving community continuity. Notwithstanding fulfilling least life security procurements, fusing improved flexibility into building configuration and development expands financial suitability, addresses societal issues, and helps groups to minimize negative ecological effects. While enhanced resiliency is beneficial to all communities, this is especially important in disaster prone areas. The paper attempts to review and address the various critical resilient design criteria associated with construction of Natural Disaster-resistant buildings in different parts of the world.Downloads
