Archit Jain, Vidushi Agarwal

Abstract

The present time will be otherwise called period of urbanization as everyday a ton of populace is gathering in urban territories. Dehradun urban territory has become a local help place for whole area once it turned into the capital of Uttarakhand state in 1999, contributing horrendously high pace of urban development. This speedy pace of increment in urban populace is chiefly a direct result of huge scale relocation of people from provincial and littler urban areas to more noteworthy urban communities in search {of better} work openings and better personal satisfaction. Impromptu Development has brought about loss of gainful agrarian grounds, open green territories and loss of surface water bodies. in this way there's a critical need to ponder the city's development and decide the key land utilize and land spread changes prompting genuine negative impacts. Examinations and projections of land use/land spread changes of Dehradun town more than two timeframes i.e., from 2004 to 2014 for correction location investigation will give an apparatus to evaluate biological system changes and their natural ramifications. Current technologies like geological data frameworks (GIS) for better basic leadership and supportable urban development.
