<p>Climate change is a pressing challenge. It affects the social, environmental and health aspects of the human community. The effects of climate change and related disasters on businesses are equally important. Climate change is affecting our entire existence from impacting the global cycles to food & water security. The emphasis at policy planning and ground actions in India has been relatively insignificant. These are the gaps in calls knowledge and capacity. National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC) to address the Paris Climate Agreement and other related obligations also calls for integration with Sendai Framework of Disaster Risk Reduction and the Sustainable Development Goals. The aim of this research paper is to share a roadmap for addressing the climate related health impacts and promoting knowledge and experience sharing through case studies, discussing policies, research and capacity issues and understanding the approaches and tools for assessments and planning.</p>Deepti Pande RanaManisha Kidwia

https://architecture.journalspub.info/index.php?journal=JEPD&page=article&op=view&path%5B%5D=993
<p>The negative effects of air pollution on health of living beings through ambient air seeking a lot attention in past years. The AQI which can be estimated with a formula, based on air pollutants concentration, which is used government authorities to get the status of quality of air in a given location. It is necessary to monitor the air quality, which is being inhaled by us to keep ourselves safe<br />from diseases related to respiration. In states of North India, stubble burning is the prime reason for air pollution. As burning is a cheaper and a fast way to clear field, farmers prefer this method of burning. There is no law to solve this problem. It is an origin of various pollutants like CO2, CO, NOx (Nitrogen oxides), SO2 (sulphur oxides), CH4, PM0, and PM2.5 (Particulate matter). These causes serious health issue and damages environment. Delhi-NCR experience around 20,000 unexplained deaths. Diseases like pneumoconiosis, bronchitis, coronial opacity, blindness, and so on, occurs because of air pollution. This addition of harmful smog also results in climate change, global<br />warming and haze. In this research, the forecasting, variation of AQI in different seasons and how much stubble burning is affecting our environment is shown.</p>Gaurav RajpootShobha RamAshish Kumar Sisodia

https://architecture.journalspub.info/index.php?journal=JEPD&page=article&op=view&path%5B%5D=994
<p>Highly densified Metropolitan cities drive the property market with demand from all strata of income groups. The individual’s choice of property is highly calculative based on tangible and intangible traits of the property asset. These traits do influence property prices in positive or negative ways based on the<br />behavior of consumers. The structural characteristics give a positive lift to prices, whereas qualitative ones vary across consumers, one of which is urban green spaces associated with properties. This dynamic behavior of consumers for valuing the urban green spaces drives the property prices. This qualitative facet is the major source for consumers of properties considering the high demand and urban green spaces contribute substantially to the value addition of these properties. The research reflects the impact is significant in metropolitan cities and narrows down in countryside areas. The paper assimilates and analyses the literature of 185 peer-reviewed articles with emphasis on empirical studies existing on the study varying across countries and continents to determine the value of urban green spaces to the consumers. Its analysis the web of knowledge across influencing parameters and their contributions in guiding consumers’ choice of their habitat. A large literature appraises research<br />done on the topic globally to prepare a strong platform for a similar study in unexplored cities in other parts of the world. The article is a part of Doctoral research on “Framework for Assessing the Impact of Neighbourhood green spaces on Prices of Residential Properties, Case Study: Noida.”</p>Vikas Kumar NirmalPriyanka SinghVilak K. https://architecture.journalspub.info/index.php?journal=JEPD&page=article&op=view&path%5B%5D=995
<p>Climate change needs no introduction in today’s era. It is considered as one of the very essential topics in any discussion based on earth and its environment. Global climate is undergoing certain changes because of various internal processes of earth’s system and several external forces. It is the change in the condition of the environment that can be distinguished by changes in the mean and the changeability of its properties that endures for a lengthy period, normally many years or longer. The concept of “climate change” was perceived by researchers in the late 1990s in the context of environmental pollution and ozone depletion. Since then, numerous initiatives on the international<br />and national fronts have been taken for the deceleration of the climate change process and curtailment of its adverse impacts. There are uncountable forces which work as causes of change in global climate today such as urbanization, industrialization, deforestation, increasing concentration of green-house gases in the atmosphere, and so on. As the phenomena of climate change is considered<br />to be a big matter of concern worldwide, the study shall assess its impacts on various aspects of life such as agriculture, livestock, biodiversity, water resources, and so on. The research also ascertains certain approaches and strategies to mitigate the impacts of climate change. The study is undertaken<br />through the available secondary sources due to time and geographical constraints.</p>MRIDULA SHARMAShruti H KapurSukriti Dogra

2022-12-132022-12-13824049Public Perception on SARS-CoV-2 Transmission and Air Disinfection Systems: A Study
https://architecture.journalspub.info/index.php?journal=JEPD&page=article&op=view&path%5B%5D=998
In 225 countries, there were 545,226,550 confirmed cases, 6,334,728 fatalities from COVID-19 as of July 03, 2022. The United Nations labelled the illness a social, human, and economic crisis in 2020, based on its negative impact on total human well-being. Both developing and developed countries are bearing the burden of COVID-19 on their national economies. Several weak economies stumble and fall down during this pandemic. Severe economic losses might increase the risk of mental problems, especially anxiety. Quarantine and social distancing have a substantial influence on the human psychological well-being. Fear of infection, loss of freedom, death, and separation from relatives, economic hardship, boredom, stigma, and uncertainty about disease status affect the mental state of the public and leads to severe mental health problems during the spread of SARS-CoV-2. This research is part of the AcSIR’s social initiative, which aims to help the society. The authors of this study used a questionnaire survey to find-out public opinion on numerous features of COVID-19. The questionnaire is divided into seven sections, these sections are designed to collect the subject personal information, health condition, COVID-19 contact information, COVID-19 awareness, occupancy information, air disinfection methods, and a few other data. A total of 74 questions were asked to assess the participants understanding and perceptions of COVID-19 and air disinfection technology. The findings of the survey revealed that the public now understands the importance of biological safety in the air, and that public awareness has grown considerably as a result of the different information sources accessible. However, the public health is still at risk as a result of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, and the fourth wave is projected to impact the majority of the world shortly. This research will aid in understanding the perspectives of Indian subjects.Aman KumarAshok KumarNishant Raj KapoorAkash DeepKishor S. KulkarniHarish Chandra Arora
