Tapping Non-Conventional Water Resources for Indian Urban Sector

Prakash Chandra Tamrakar

Abstract

Water is a natural and scarce resource, as livelihood, food security and sustainable development depends on water. Rainwater harvesting has been the most common technology adopted in water conservation but is inadequate to areas experiencing ample rainfall. Planning for water of non-conventional water resources are an option to serve the solution to the water crisis for tomorrow.
