Abstract

The noise pollution is gradually increasing in urban, industrial, commercial, mining, infrastructural-sited and even in sensitive areas causing nuisance and adverse health problems. Such an ever increasing problem needs to be addressed through sustainable development planning of all the sectors causing noise pollution in an integrated approach.
