Abstract

The relation between human body and architecture has a long history. Architecture lies within the nest moreover as in an exceedingly skyscraper. Human body and architecture are engaged in a dance where each adapts to other and architect have to find a balance between both. A human spent 90-95% of his life indoors or surrounded by forms. An individual relaxes at home not simply because of family but another excuse is, he feels safe, secure and happy there. An architect can kill a human with the architecture of the apartment just as well as with gun. It’s not only about positive/ negative space but this is regarding experience. The dark experience of any space - Black Architecture, comes out from architectural psychology which is an academic field to explore the impacts of architecture on humans, their feelings and behavior. This paper will cover aspects of black architecture and the way user experiences it.
